Custom development
Applications and plugins for AutoCAD, Revit, ZWCAD and BricsCAD that adapt the CAD to your process. Turnkey programming since 1997.
- Autodesk Developer Network members since 1997
- Authorised ZWCAD and BricsCAD developers in Spain
- Over 100 projects delivered to technical offices
When off-the-shelf software falls short, we build it. Since 1997 we have delivered more than a hundred turnkey programming projects for technical offices: drawing generators, product configurators, database connectors, documentation automation and drawing quality-control tools.
What we build
- CAD and BIM plugins: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, ZWCAD and BricsCAD.
- Configurators and drawing generators for manufacturers: from an order or a catalogue, the system produces manufacturing drawings, cutting lists and schedules.
- Standalone .NET applications with a database to manage technical information outside the CAD.
- Migrations from AutoCAD to ZWCAD or BricsCAD keeping your own routines and menus.
How we work
We start with a free analysis of the current process and close scope, timing and a fixed price from it. On large projects we first deliver a working prototype to validate the approach with users. After rollout, an optional maintenance contract covers new CAD releases and incidents.
How we do it
-
01 Process analysis
We learn how your technical office works and where time is lost.
-
02 Prototype and fixed price
We define scope, timing and a fixed cost; on large projects, a working prototype before building everything.
-
03 Development and rollout
We program against the CAD API and install it on your workstations with training.
-
04 Maintenance
Migration to each new CAD release and extensions when your process changes.
Custom development
Which languages and APIs do you use?
.NET (C#) on the AutoCAD APIs (ObjectARX/.NET), the Revit API, ZWCAD ZRX/.NET and BricsCAD BRX, plus LISP when the project calls for it. Also standalone applications with SQL Server databases.
Who owns the code?
We agree it on each project. Typically the customer gets an unlimited usage licence and ApliCAD maintains the code so it can keep evolving.
Shall we review it with your team?
Describe the process and we will tell you whether it makes sense, what it costs and when it would be ready.
