AutoCAD Map 3D: AutoCAD with GIS tools for mapping and cadastre

AutoCAD Map 3D adds geographic information system tools to AutoCAD: mapping organised by layers and object classes, topology, drawing clean-up, coordinate systems and direct access to spatial data (SHP, PostGIS, SQL Server, WMS/WFS and georeferenced raster).

It is the platform on which ApliCAD has developed and supported its cadastre family (CARTO, DigCU1, RCAT, Rústica, Urbana, FIN2006, IEC and VisualCU1) since 1997.

It ships as part of the AutoCAD subscription. If you work with cadastral mapping or utility networks, we help you configure it and migrate your data.

Questions about AutoCAD Map 3D

Is it sold separately?

No. Since 2023 AutoCAD Map 3D is part of the AutoCAD subscription as a specialised toolset. Request an AutoCAD quote and we will set it up with you.

Can I use Civil 3D instead of Map 3D?

Yes. Civil 3D is built on AutoCAD and includes the Map 3D features, so it also works as the platform for the cadastre products.
