Before recommending BricsCAD, we want to understand how you work
These are some of the questions we will ask. There are no right or wrong answers: they let us recommend the product and edition that really fit.
-
How much of your work is 2D, how much is 3D, and are you planning to move to BIM?
-
Which formats do you exchange with clients (DWG, IFC, others) and who decides them?
-
Do you have LISP routines, menus or .NET/ObjectARX add-ons that need migrating?
-
Does the whole team need the same thing, or are there different profiles (drafting, mechanical, BIM)?
-
Would you rather pay once or yearly, and over how many years are you planning?
From your case to a recommendation in three steps
- 01
You tell us about your case
Using the form or on a 20-minute call: what you do, what software you use and what you want to improve.
- 02
We look at how you work
We review your files, templates, routines and the formats you exchange with clients and suppliers.

Questions about BricsCAD
Are there perpetual and subscription licences?
Yes, both options exist for every edition. Which one suits you depends on your number of seats and your planning horizon; we work it out with you during the advisory call.
Can you help me choose the edition?
Yes, that is the first thing we do. With five editions, the right one depends on your mix of 2D, 3D, mechanical design and BIM, and on your team's profiles. Request advice and a technician will go through it with you, free of charge.
Do my AutoCAD LISP routines and menus work?
In the vast majority of cases, yes: BricsCAD runs LISP, DCL, CUI and commands with the same syntax. .NET or ObjectARX code must be recompiled against BRX; ApliCAD does this as part of the migration.
Why cadspain.com and not bricscadspain.com?
cadspain.com is ApliCAD's site dedicated to BricsCAD in Spain; bricscadspain.com redirects there. That is where you will find detailed features, release notes and the 30-day trial.
